COLORIS GCC expands

Nine years after the construction of the Coloris Production plant in the town of Pamiers, a new project was launched. The aim of this project was to create a new “hybrid” building with a size of around 2500m². The term hybrid means that the building consists of two distinct parts. Firstly, there is a production workshop. This is mainly specialised in the production of cosmetic ingredients. The second part of the building contains two storage areas. In addition to these two areas, there is a logistics area for the departure of finished products to customers.

The construction of this ambitious project started a few weeks before the announcement of the first lockdown in March 2020 by Emmanuel Macron. Following this announcement, the pressure on the construction site, which had already begun, went up a notch.

But in the face of difficulty, Coloris has always been able to take up challenges that many would consider impossible or unattainable. The project was carried out with great success despite all the troubles that the Coloris team had to face.

This is why, almost one year after the start of the project, we can say: We did it! With local service providers present and mobilized despite the period and thanks to a team united and entirely devoted to the realization of this beautiful project, it could see the day at the end of the year 2020. This building was completed in record time, as we started operating the cosmetic workshop only 9 months after the project was launched. We can be proud of that!
